Callouts for the installation of a new printer just incur a simple flat fee - typically £40 (including the callout)
Callouts to your home or business for PC repair are typically £30 and a charge of £60 per hour or part hour on top
This works well if you have for example a very heavy PC which would be inconvenient for you to remove and bring to the shop. Or the issue is to do with the your network - Broadband or WiFi
If the PC is bought back to the shop from your location for the repair - a simple fixed cost will apply instead of the per hour rate
In shop repairs once agreed are typically a fixed cost of no more than £90 for labor, but some tasks that are easier or quicker than the norm will be discounted
You can phone us or pop into the shop to discuss your PC, laptop or Apple Mac issue and we can advise if it can be fixed
We do not charge to initially look and assess repairability of your computer at the shop
If we think you are best advised to get a new PC, etc - as opposed to a repair - we will say so
We can help advise as to new computer purchases and also help in the transfer of data and applications to any new computers
We may in a few exceptional cases ask to charge a small diagnosis fee for further investigation of a possible repair if the initial look has revealed a lengthly process is involved to get to a root cause. This cost is discounted against any repair costs then agreed as a result.
